[Miles Edgeworth didn't particularly enjoy interrogating the accused, especially not in this gloomy room in the detention center. But just because he didn't enjoy it didn't mean he wouldn't do it. It was one of the ways he could build his case and send yet another criminal to the place where they rightfully belonged. Still, sometimes it disgusted him to hear the lies and stories the accused would weave in the hopes of regaining freedom. Why should he, when the evidence already spoke for itself and showed the truth - the truth that no one could truly be innocent?
Today, he was to interrogate Maya Fey, the prime suspect in the murder of Mia Fey, a defense attorney Edgeworth knew all too well for her way with cowardly picking apart testimony and grasping at straws. But Mia's tactics were not the topic of conversation, obviously.
He pursed his lips in deep thought as he entered the detention center, nodding to the guards who kept watch. Why would Maya murder her sister, though? That question crossed his mind, before he remembered all the evidence pointing to her. Motive no longer mattered when it was all too clear.
Edgeworth primly takes his seat before the accused in the questioning room, hands folded on the surface of the table.]
Miss Maya Fey, I presume?
[OOC: Auste makes up things about how questioning works in AA because it's fake law anyway whatevs.]
