1. Boarded: Your ship has been boarded, and as captain you've been captured! Better hope the other captain gives quarter. Alternatively, it's a nice warm day for a swim. That plank was made for walking.
2. Victory: You've captured another ship! You knew those extra cannons would come in handy. And let's hope they've got lots of swag! Where's the captain? Are you the decent sort, or are you going to rub their face in it for a bit?
3. Swab the decks: You're a cabin boy! It's a good thing you don't mind doing all the dirty work, right? Anyway, the captain's calling; better see what they want.
4. Marooned: For a bit there you'd thought you were in Davy's Jones' grip, but somehow you've washed ashore with the driftwood. As you stare dazedly up from the surf, you have questions. Where are you? And who's that already on the shore?
5. Buried Treasure: Sink me! You've really found the mother lode. . . but you're not the only one. Who gets to take the treasure back to their ship? Better make sure it's you.
6. Rum: Rum, everywhere.
7. Swordfight: It's that person you can't stand! And they've taken your most valuable possession, that one of a kind thing you just can't live without! Better get that trinket back before it and your nemesis are gone over the side forever. Let's hear some swashes buckling.
8. Mutiny: The tack is full of maggots and this drinking water may as well have come from the gutter. There's one person to blame for this, and you're here to make especially sure that they pay for it. The captain does always seem to take the best treasure before everybody else.
9. Kidnapping: Don't they look rather peaceful, innocent even, sleeping so soundly there with their fancy nightclothes and pillows. Brings a tear to your eye, it does. Better take them aboard and send for a ransom.
10. Take a Gamble: Gotta spend your loot somehow, but it must have been the rum that had you bettin' everything at once! You've lost to your hornswagglin' shipmate; what did you lose, and what will they make you do now?
11. Under the Sea: You are now a Mermaid/Merman! That sailor over there sure looks appealing; let's see if you can lure them in with your charms. Don't forget that they can't breathe under water! You do seem to always forget, don't you. . .
12. The Doldrums: Can you say cabin fever? The sails haven't moved in weeks. You're about seeing if your mates can relieve this awful boredom.
13. Wild card. What do. Your choice. It doesn't even have to be here - wait why am I even explaining this to you YOU KNOW HOW THIS WORKS.

SCREW THE NUMBERS. I HAVE BOOTY.
Why was he even bothering with these thoughts? His own crew was set to put this plan in motion tonight. Hayner needed to keep his head in the present. While most of the crew was getting plastered at the Drinkery in town, his crew was going to take out those watching the ship, and then get their reward.
Maybe he was so held up on every thing because the Captain was still on board the ship? From what he could garner from the conversation earlier, she was sleeping. The biggest issue was that the particular treasure worth all of this was located in the Captain Quarters. He would have to get very creative about how he dealt with both her and the getting the necklace.
Then he heard the cooing of a bird. He froze in anticipation to see if it sounded again.
Yup. There it went. The signal. Two coos. He really would have loved something with a bang! But his two most trusted members, Olette and Pence, had reminded him this was a covert operation. His started to sing a shanty in response as he walked across the deck with mop in hand.
"The wind it blows from the east nor'east
Our ship will scud ten knots at least
The purser would our wants supply
So while with life we'll never say die"
Maybe it was because the plan was running through his head, but he swore he could hear the booted feet landing in the decks below.
Hayner continued his song, dragging the mop with him as he helped himself down in to the Captain's room. Whether or not the blond was roused by it, he wasn't going to pay any heed to it. Hopefully she would just assume he was daft. That he was planning on cleaning her floors and assuming she had gone with the boys to get their rum fixing. He knew his crew was stealthy. They would probably take this ship in a matter of minutes given the lack of numbers she had on board, and the best of 'em was in the same room as Hayner.
"Then at last our captain comes on board
Our sails are bent, we're manned and stored
The Peter's hoisted at the fore
Good-bye to the girls we'll see no more."
Finally he stopped is singing, knowing if she was sleeping she would have been fully roused with her cabin boy singing and pushing his mop across her floor. He gave a grin, not being able to help himself.

Though normally accompanying the crew to enjoy a nice rum, this time it doesn't seem to be the case.
Taking an easy rest within the captain's quarters, Roxene lounges on her makeshift bed, dosing lightly in the case of something happening with her crew on land and having to react accordingly to the idiocy they may get themselves into. That would be another thing she would have normally gone with them but this time, she didn't fancy the idea of drunk men being touchy with her when all she wants is a relaxing night. Besides, she can always enjoy a drink on her own without having to deal with that sort.
So it's not a surprise that she's roused from her sleep at the sound of her door opening and hearing the singing voice of the cabin boy, who apparently didn't know that she would be staying in for the night. Either that or he thought he could form other plans with her present. Whichever plan that may be, he'll find himself facing the tip of her blade should he dare try it. For the moment, she keeps still, eyes half-lidded as she keeps an eye on him as he mops her floors.
After another minute or two, she finally speaks up, disturbing him from his appointed task.
"I better be able to see my reflection on that floor for how diligent you seem to be working."

Hayner was going to get an ear full from Pence and Olette if he really did decide to go with what he was pondering. He hummed the next few notes of the song, before bringing his brown eyes up to finally meet the Captain's. He couldn't help but flash a smile. Yup. He was going to do it anyways.
"Not like ya have ta worry bout it much longer." He gacve a shrug as he pushed the mop back towards the door. He turned to face her, settling both hands and his chin on the top of the mop's handle as he gave a low hum. His gaze was on the floor, as if he was scrutinizing the job he did. "Might want ta think about your career jus' a bit there, Cap'n." Hayner kept his tone light, almost playful as he spoke. Hopefully she'll decide his words weren't traitorous enough to run him through.
"Hate ta say it, but I don't think you're winning any popularity contests with the likes on this ship." A beat. "Aside from your looks o' course." And now he was getting in to dangerous territory, but he never did think these things through. That, and he wasn't checking her out or implying he found her attractive. He found the way she fought attractive though, but he'll hold off on that one for now.

But hearing his words makes her laugh, though it's nothing like the cheerful ones that people would normally associate with a laugh, as it doesn't hold any sort of happiness to it at all. A hollowness that's tinged with amusement, that's all it can be described to be as if a person is the sort to identify the kind of emotions that they can be going through. There's a certain bitterness to her tone, as if she resents something but where that resentment is held towards isn't entirely known. Only she holds the story and she's not willing to share it with anyone.
"And you stand there pegging me to be blind."
Because she knows that half the of the crew, if not most, had been more interested in other assets rather than her skills with a sword. They had joined for similar reasons and that's to catch a glimpse of exposed skin rather. Plundering towns and gaining treasures had been an extra bonus.
Really, she's been surprised that a mutiny hadn't happened sooner than now.
"Tell me then, what desire are you harboring the most now."

Her words seem to perhaps please him. That dumb grin was still plastered on his features as he shifted from foot to foot. "Then why stay?" He tilted his head before gesturing around them. "Seems ta me that your talents are better suited else where." When he spoke, he looked at her sword as if to emphasize his meaning. "It's wasted here, mon corsair."
Hayner was keeping a respectful space between them as he stepped closer.
"Really wish to know?" And he nodded towards her desk where, as he heard whispers of, she probably kept the more valuable trinkets. "A necklace that came to your possession of recent." And he grinned as he pointed to the blonde Captain. "And perhaps you, if willing." Even if she wasn't, he might just snag her anyways. "Not for the reason your crew seems ta desire," he amended. Mop was leaned against a chair before he held out a hand. "What say you? Stick around with a mutinous group after your booty or come away with me?"
Pause as he planted a hand on his hip, a contemplative look given towards the door. "I suppose if I'm comin' clean of my intentions, I should let you know that me hearties are sneaking aboard now to take out whomever might still be 'round."

Just because it seems like it's the end for her voyaging on the seas, doesn't mean she's willing to give out all of her secrets, those she'll be taking to Davy Jones locker before ever saying. Her story has no more meaning now that she's cast away that identity, only going by being the captain of this very ship, nothing more and nothing less. Others may add on to her title and they didn't matter to her, as long as she is no longer called by her former one. A name that's part of her past, one she doesn't acknowledge any longer.
But seeing him glance at her desk, she merely scoffs at the rumors she knows that float about on her ship, that she keeps the most valuable in the most obvious place within her chambers. Only a fool would do such a thing considering how easy it could be for someone to come inside, point being made by her so-called cabin boy standing in front of her. Really, what respectable pirate would leave those that mean the most just lying about? "A necklace you say? There are many I favor and have recently claimed. I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific than that." Though she has a feeling she knows what he speaks of, she won't be pointing him in the direction of where it is.
"As for myself, what could you possibly offer enough for me."
She wants to know, wants to see what it is that he could possibly sway her into going with him. After all, there isn't much that could gain her attention, considering all things. There's only so much that interests her at present and he'll have to offer something grandly intriguing for her to go with. Otherwise, he'll have to do something else to steal her away.
Roxene smirks at his words though, at the mention of his crew boarding. "As long as they don't misplace a single oar of the ship, feel free to take the crew." She might have taken them from various places, wanting to form her own crew, they didn't hold any sort of loyalty to her even as pirates.

Captaincabin boy ever. He knew rumors were unfounded and it was a fool's gamble to put his hopes in it, but any hint was better than none. Hayner also knew he had time. Plenty of time.If any of her mates returned to find the ship occupied by another group, they likely would just turn tail. The lot of 'em were cowards from what he could tell. He would have loved to see the crew in a fight with other brigadiers just to see if his inkling that the best of 'em being the Captain was true. She certainly was the only to put effort in keeping her skills honed.
He curled a finger under his chin thoughtfully. He decided he will keep with the honesty thing. He was a horrible liar most of the time, after-all. "Large ruby reminds ya o' blood in color. It came across your path a couple months back." Brown eyes were on the ceiling as he counted with his fingers.
Hayner circled her desk, his attention dragging across the surface before wandering around to the rest of the room. "I'll give ya the cons right now, Roxene. Ya wouldn't be able to keep the rank. And ya might have to share your space with another lass if ya are inclined to privacy." And then he flashed his teeth in an easy going smile. "The pros would be ya would certainly have the respect ya deserve. Whatever treasure acquired by your hands, ya can keep. And the Captain doesn't tolerate lollygaggers mucking about and blatantly drooling 'ver a member."
He paused as he turn on a heel to face her again. "Much better than waiting around to die with this bunch." Grin changed to a smirk as his smart-ass side kicked in. "So long as we don't misplace any piece of the ship, hmm?"

"So that's the little gem that's caught your eye, ey?"
Roxene debates on telling him a lie, saying that she's misplaced it elsewhere, possibly forever lost to Davy Jones' locker just to see his reaction to such a statement. However, there's the unknown of what he would do with that piece of information. Leave it be? Or take advantage of the fact that she's yet to get up from her reclined position on her bed. As humorous as the lie could be, she didn't fancy the idea of getting shot and bleeding to death while is crew decides to plunder the ship. In fact, she didn't fancy the idea of dying at all.
So she slips the necklace out from a hidden pocket, idly fingering the chain as she shows it to him. "It is a real beaut, isn't it." A grin on her face.
However, it fades slightly at his so-called proposition about being aboard his ship. Although it sounds rather tempting the fact that she would not get to carry the title as captain doesn't sit well with her. Especially if she has to take orders from someone as seemingly daft as he is. She does not want to be the one having to clean up messes like she currently does at times. That's not a duty she wants to be saddled with. "But I won't be swabbing decks, I hope. Otherwise I'll take my chances with the sea and this little thing along with me."
Truth be told, she would fight for the right to be called captain, should a challenge should be issued. More than willing to fight for it. "However, you're going to have to give me a better offer than that."
